All Disabled Veterans and Non-disabled Veterans living in or moving to The City of Henderson qualify for a these benefits:
- A waiver of 100% of all Building and Permits fees applied for by any Disabled Veterans (Honorably Discharged).
- A waiver of 50% of all Building and Permits fees applied for by any Non-Disabled Veterans (Honorably Discharged).
- A DD214 / NGB22 (Honorable Discharge from served Department) or a Veterans Identification Card (VIC) issued by the Veterans Affairs (VA), are needed as proofs to apply for any fee waiver.
- Building and Permit fees on a newly constructed homes being purchased by a Veteran identified above, through a Builder/Contractor, can also apply to have those fee’s be reimbursed at time of Closing if the Builder/Contractor had paid up front for those fee’s through the City of Henderson. This was also made available for our Veterans to help reduce the overall agreed price of the home being purchased.
